Be a better communicator, by talking to yourself.
Why do we feel so embarrassed or ashamed if someone walks in on us as we’re talking to ourselves?
Once upon a time there was a guy who was 14 yrs old, he wanted to become the President and so he would answer questions, he would act like he was addressing the masses, and coincidentally the masses looked a lot like his bedroom wall and he would act like he was being interviewed, he would talk about the importance of cultivating a President’s identity and youth, all in the sanctity of his bedroom.
But, strangely enough, winning the election wasn’t his biggest concern; it was his Mom walking in on him and he didn’t want her to think that his son was weird and I think that’s the majority of our consensus is that we just don’t want to seem weird, But the fact of the matter is, we all have conversations with ourselves, whether it be verbal or mental.
